Membership

 

Membership is open to any person who is a member of the Bar, a solicitor, legal executive, a member of the legal and finance department of any local authority, an adviser in a law centre, a member of academia, any professional working in the area of mental health and capacity or any other person that the Executive Committee may from time to time decide and who has an interest or association with mental capacity or Court of Protection.



The current annual subscription is £50.  Memberships are renewable on the 1st September in each year.  Membership forms are available through clicking on the icon below:

Our Committee

 

​Our committee is made up of a range of professionals including barristers, solicitors that work in the field of property & finance, personal welfare as part of the Court of Protection and a mental capacity advocate.



Each committe member serves in their role in a voluntary capacity for a year and is elected into post at the annual general meeting.



The honorary officers of the association consists of a Chair, Vice chair, Treasurer and Secretary.
